Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shankar is a British American artist and a sitarist is best known for her musical talents. She was the first woman within her age bracket to receive the British House of Commons Staff. Anoushka Shankar is the hottest star on the Indian sitar. She is a student as well as granddaughter of legendary Ravi Shankar. Her birthplace was in London in 1982, and was a young girl who travelled between London as well as New Delhi. The first time she performed was in New Delhi when she was thirteen years old. Then she relocated into Encinitas CA where she graduated from High School with honours in 1999. The career of Anouskha as a performer and recorder is remarkable, even at her young age. She regularly accompanies her father in performances this she's been doing for quite a few years. Her debut self-titled album Anourag in 1998. The Grammy Award-winning album Live at Carnegie Hall was released two years later than her first solo album. Apart from performing in many of the biggest venues and venues, she also has an extensive stage presence. Anoushka Shankar's professional life isn't restricted to just the music industry. Four years later she performed her music debut with the sitar Delhi during her father's 75th birthday celebration. Anoushka was a part of her father during his world tour, gained an impressive number of experiences. In her teenage years she performed at Carnegie Hall as part of Peter Gabriel's WOMAD as well as recorded with George Harrison. The House of Commons Shield was presented an award by the British Parliament for being the most renowned Asian Arts musician. She is the only female and youngest recipient of the prize.
